Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How many loaded mags (and rounds) can you fit in a 5 cal ammo can???

I've managed to fit 600 rounds in 30 and 20 rounders comfortable in a can. Is there a better way that allows more? Basically using 30's on their sides, two wide and 7 tall with 20's in the remaining spaces....

I have been able to fit 15 or 16 30rd loaded mags in a 50 cal can.
two underneath laying side by side, then a bunch standing up from end to end in the can, but leaned at an angle.
Then two more laying over the top of those.
