how fast do the machines that produce ammo run?

How many rounds per second?

I.M.I's 5.56mm/7.62mm SCAMP line has been in operation since 1980. The SCAMP line is a fully automated process which produces over a thousand cartridges per minute, providing IMI with a production capability in excess of 1.25 million cartridges per day.
