Since 55 grain WWB is so scarce I was thinking of getting some 62 grain M855.

I shoot a 14.5 Colt W/ an aimpoint and 200 yards is a long shot for me, mostly I keep it under 100 yards.

My question is how far off will 62 grain be from where I zeroed with 55 grain? I don't want to change my zero because my duty ammo (LEO) is 55 gr TAP.

Any insight is appreciated.

As an Aimpoint red-dot is 4 MOA, (unless it's a new 3 MOA dot) that's 4" at 100 yards. If your 55grn ammo hits the dot when zeroed, your M855 will also hit the dot at any range inside of 100 yards.

Mike

ps - yes even if it's the 3 MOA dot
