I am sorry to ask this.  I know there has been a tread about it before, but my searches turned up nothing.

So how do you store your mags?  I am trying to stuff them into a .50cal box but not having much sucess with getting the max in there and getting the lid closed.  Looking for some suggestions, pics would be great.  Thanks.

A gunsafe would be nice, that is where I store mine.  No pics, the mags are just on the shelf in the safe anyway.

I'm more particular about how I store the 20's because they can rust. The ammo cans work great if thats all ya got! just keep the moisture away from them with some dessicant packs I recycle mine from purchases into the gun and mag stuff !!

LOL, that'll be pretty heavy to lug around.

I have a foot locker full of magazines for my M4 and AK's. I just have them stacked in there and seperated by type, country of origin, color, and material made of. Did I mention that I am a bit anal?

Anyone using 50 cal cans?

I have a 40mm can, but that would be fairly heavy to lug around once loaded with mags and ammo.  I have 8 loaded in the safe, but looking to store more in the 50 cal can, for easier transport.  Any suggestions.

I keep mine in a variety of ammo cans.  I generally keep all of them loaded except for the 20s.  I don't know why really as I generally just use the same 5 all the time at the range.  If I buy new ones I function check them and then load 'em and dump 'em into one of the cans.  I really never counted as to how many I had in each can or what type of can it is.
