How do you get the Detent and Spring out to remove the Front Pivot Pin?

Yeah, what he said--cause I need to remove mine as well...

I use a "L" shaped dental pick to depress the detent pin and spring. Push the pivot pin out past the slot and take out pick and push pivot pin the rest of the way out. Watch out you don't send pin and spring flying across the room.

Open the pin as far as it will, insert a paperclip, or other probe, through the hole in the pin and compress the detent spring, rotate the pin and remove. Like TM said, watch out for the detent and spring![;)]
