How do you go about polishing a chamber in an AR?

I tried some JB paste on a 38cal brush with patches wrapped around it and the paste on the patches and chucked it in a drill...

Also did the same thing with 0000 steel wool.

eta: this is not a chrome lined chamber

If you have a dremel with a snake coil attachment and a blue boy polishing bit it will look like a mirror.I use that for feed ramps on 1911s.My ramps on all 3 of my 1911s were done 2 years ago and the ramps are still shiny and bright.

I actually tried to do the whole length of the chamber...

with the method I used is there any chance of making the chamber dangerous?
