I'm considering getting one for my EOTech 552 but I've waiting to see how well these mounts are working before I take the leap.

So how are they holding up and have they been holding zero after taking them off? Also, has the handle proven to be snag-a-matic or have they been snag free?

Anyone break one yet?

I have a GGG. No problems, no snags. Returns to zero everytime.

Some people are just too hard on their equipment.

The lever is probably similar to a bicycle wheel quick release.
The lever cams against the rails to provide the tension.
If so, then they can wear in to where they loosen up a bit over time.
