How are Colt LE models marked?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How are Colt LE models marked?

This is more curiosity than anything but a number of people have been posting pics of the Colt LEO marked lowers.

Some have been marked "Colt AR15A3 Tactical Carbine" and some have been marked "Colt Law Enforcement Carbine" so what the scoop? If I'm not mistaken, the LE6920 comes marked "Colt Law Enforcement Carbine" so where are the "AR15A3" marked lowers coming from?

Colt AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine is the Model LE6721. 16" HBAR barrel.

you are talking two different guns.
6920 le carbine
ar-15A3 is different model and not 6920 and yes that one is so marked

I'm not sure the model number, but mine is marked: "Colt's Law Enforcement Carbine"
