I bought a few boxes of this in 62 gr today and have a couple of questions.

Does Hornady still produce this particular round? It's not listed on their site.

Is this a bonded bullet? I see descriptions of "designed to penetrate barriers" but no mention of it being a bonded projectile.

Anyone here ever shot any? General impressions?

It is on their LEO website... and I do not believe it is bonded.

Thanks for that link!

Looks like it's not great against auto glass. The other gel tests look okay.

I only bought it because it was something I've never tried. I'm interested to see how accurate it is in my 1/9 carbine.

Thank you for that link. I don't know how I missed that report.

And not bonded. Good to know.

I still haven't shot any of it but I have another question.

I bought 4 boxes, 80 rounds. I have 60 rounds loaded in magazines. I was looking at the remaining box just now and for whatever reason I rolled a round on the table. Laid it on its side and rolled it.

That projectile is not seated properly. I don't know the proper term for it. Rollout? Concentricity?  The bullet not seated straight in the case.

So I did the same with rest of that box. Eight rounds out of twenty are clearly not seated straight. Looking at the cannelure vs. the case it's possible to see a small difference on those rounds.

Some look a bit weirder than others when they roll on the table but nothing I would call terrible.

Is this seriously detrimental to accuracy or nothing to concern myself about?
