Trying to decide between the Vortex Sparc 2 and the Holosun hs403g, thoughts? Suggestions? The red dot will be going on a 9mm ar pistol

I think the Holosun is a neat little optic with great reviews with great warranty. That's all I have to offer.

I agree with the post above. I have one on my AK and it's been great.

Idk, but I do know that recoil just did a toture test on the spark 2 and beat the everloving crap out of it and it finally took microwaving it to finally put it down.

I have a sparc 2 - never microwaved it or beat it too hard but I do like it...

I like the Holosun better. The housing is much more streamline, the emitter is invisible and the battery life is much longer plus it has auto shutoff and auto-on feature. The Holosun seems very durable and well built, dot is nice and tight. For the money you cant beat it. Also has an outstanding warranty backed by great customer service as far as the few reports go. The Primary Arms stamped version ( sans auto-on & auto-off) is very cost effective and has a rock solid warranty backed by Primary Arms.
