Well, I'm the guy griping about how hard it is to find good deals on mags.

I went into a local mil-surp shop today, and after browsing around I spied some mags on a low shelf behind the counter.  I asked if I could look at them, and how much... "Oh six bucks each."

I picked out six that were easily 80-90+%, one was nearly perfect.  Adventureline, Okay, Parsons, Sanchez.  Four had green followers.  I walked out with nice six mags for $36 +tax!!!!

I asked the guy if he got them often, he said no, just once in a while....  Needless to say, I'll be stopping in there more often.

Naah, I have a hard time sneaking more than that into the house.    Next month, I'll get the rest.

Just be sure you don't end up with postban mags.  Many mil surplus shops are selling them to anyone with the money.

You suck, the only surplus store for 200 miles wants $30 a piece for used mags.  Some of them are in pretty poor shape.  Good deal though.

At Ranger rags or Benning surplus in columbus GA if you buy 10 or more mags you can get them for $8 all day long and yes they are pre ban and most of them are 70% or better.but hell $6 is a hell of a deal, You should have bought all of them, and 10 mags+$60 then you sell them 10 for $150( they might be on sale a hour before they are sold) and then you put $90 minus shipping in your pocket. i dont have their # but they can be contacted by calling Columbus GA info.

The best deal I've gotten on mags was 2 GI  30rndrs + 160 rnds or so of Remington .223 ammo+ a few boxes of 9mm for $10.00.  A few weeks back I managed to snag a GI 30rndr, 3 Cz52 pistol mags, 150 rnds +/- of ChiCom 7.62x25, 2 boxes of .380, 1 box of .44mag, 1 box of 7x57 Mauser, a handfull of 16 gauge shells & 5 boxes of once fired .300 WinMag & 7mm Remington Mag brass...all for $15.00.  Auctions are great sometimes....

... Best deal on mags I ever scored were six Sterling (yes, Sterlings) taped together at a yard sale thrown by an elderly lady.

Me: How much for these?
Her: Oh, $20
Me: (Thinking @ $20/each it's still a bargin, I say) Do I get the tape for that price?
Her: Sure!
Me: Here, I'll give ya $25
Her: Why, your such a nice young man.
