I always thought it stood for "Third track," you know, the one in the subway that you're REALLY not supposed to touch. [:D]

Sorry to hijack: but that's Third Rail. It won't electricute you if you step on it-that is if there are NO trains in the vicinity. Still I avoid stepping on it when I'm out there "Working."

I've seen those cast POS knock-offs at gun shows, and I've even seen dealers trying to pass them off as the real thing.

Seriously, how come there are so many dishonest dealers in this trade?

Oh by the way, Patents and copyrights never really (obviously)applied to those in Red China. Overseas compyright infirngement lawsuits are next to impossible to carry through as different countries have different copy right laws or simply do not follow them. Situation is one big Cluster Fuck.

What about ASA knocking off the GGG MAD sight. We know how Armalite reacted to ASA. Trial date is in November. Bye-bye ASA.

Garry, your right, I do care. I care that any legitimate US maker is protected from counterfieters. I care that all of us get a fair deal with genuine equipment. I care that we shouldn't have to pay more for equipment because of the profits taken away from legit makers going into the pockets of crooks. I think you and others do us all a service by bringing this type thing to the membership, it doesn't matter who equipment is being infringed, it costs us all. Good shootin, Jack

I feel sorry for those that got taken thinking that was OEM ARMS. Just looking at the blurry pics one can tell that POS is not 1/50 the quality of a true ARMS M68 Tri-lock.

The biggest disservice of all is when Joe-Blow buys one of these thinking its the real deal, and when he finds out what a POS it really is, tells his buddy what crap 'ARMS' puts out, not knowing the difference between the knockoff and the real thing.... Dave
