I want to install a CQB universal fit CST sling to my rifle .

I have a non railed Free float tube with a sling stud , but no ring . and I have a GG&G single point mount on the A2 stock .
I do not want to use Paracord on the front sight post because that defeats the purpose of the free float . Is there a way I can wrap it to the free float tube and get it to stay there?

Should I just ditch the single point mount and do the butt stock wrap and or use the sling attacment on the stock instead?

Or should I just try to use the single point mount some way ?

Just have a gunsmith add a sling swivel stud to the side of the FF handguard.

Add one "Quick Detach" swivel and you're set !

I make them.  I can send you one for a couple of bucks.

Here's a pic of an early prototype buttstock adapter (before I added the second D ring):

The D ring on top is mandatory, however, I can send you an adapter without the side mounted D ring.  BTW, there's too much tension on the adapter for the rings to rattle.

Email me a shipping address, and I'll send you a prototype adapter (top ring only) at no charge. Email: [email protected]
