Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help to determine if PWA lower is a preban???

I am in the begining stages of buying a preban pwa lower.The seller said he bought it as a kit in the early 90's and that he believed it is a preban.How can I confirm the date of manufacture and if it was a kit does this make when it was assembled the date of manufacture.Any help is appreciated.Thanks Ray
