Went thru my 30's, and found over 50% won't drop free.

Kinda tight goin in.  Some drop .5-1", some less.

Seem to hang on the rear sides of the mag.  A coupel of them have wear spots back there too.

Sledgehammer?  Vice?  Sell and buy others?

What bites is that 3 of them are Colts... :(

If this has been addressed, sorry, my Bronze $$ is en route.

Any links or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks.  I'm gonna mic some of the ones that drop, and compare to see how far I need to progress.

Thanks man.

If the mags are blued or teflon coated steel they are aftermarket, some work some dont. The downside is they wont drop free.

A quick and easy way to see if they have swelled at the top is to insert them upside down.  If they slide in and out easily, then simply follow Troy's advice.  Unfortunately, it's a fairly temporary solution.
