1) Magpul 93A
2) Vltor standard w/compartments
3) Bushmaster 6-position

Help!

I've got two lowers, and was thinking of building one as a A3 CAR (6 position) with CAR 11.5/5.5 upper.  I was thinking of having the second as a magpul black collapsible stock, with a A3 14.5/phantom with the S.I.R. military setup.

Thanks for any input, votes and advice!

If you decide on the Bushy 6 posistion go with the RRA same quality and $30 cheaper or the same money with an H buffer.

I had a Magpul and sold it.  Now I have a Vltor Clubfoot that I got from JTAC and like it way better then the Magpul.

Out of the three stocks you have listed, I would go with the VLTOR. As for the rail system, the top quality brands are ARMS, KAC,DD,LaRue, and TROY. If you like the ARMS SIR over the others listed because you chose and truly like it, GO WITH IT! Do NOT listen to others on what exactly to buy when it comes to these as you will be buying a NEW systems out of all these listed every 2 months! LOL By choosing what YOU actually like out of these manufactures you cannot go wrong! Hope this helps you!

The cheekweld on the magpul can't be beat, remains the same no matter what the adjustment in length.

Have you looked at the Ace SOCOM?

None of the above.  The first two are overpriced novelty items, in my O!

I'm fine with the Original 4 Position.

Is it possible to view the results without voting?

Edit- never mind, I just clicked on 'vote' without choosing anything.

Vltor!

The Magpul is nice too, but if you go with that AND a SIR, your rifle will weigh 7 to 8 pounds, without optics and other add-ons.

Non of the above.  You should get a LMT/Crane stock.

Seriously!

Overpriced?  Yes.  Novelty items?  I don't think so.  I have never tried the magpul but the Vltor is a great improvement over the regular stock.

Vltor!

Magpull features are nice, but there's somthing to be said for simplicity.  Which leads me to the SIR question...

SIR systems are bulky and heavy...wiith all the new rail systems available today that are lighter and simpler IE. LMT, LaRue and Troy Industries...I just don't get the whole SIR thing.  but, its all personal preference and end use...

good luck!

I like both the Vltor and LMT best. If you have facial hair get the LMT. The Vltor will rip a beard or mustache right off you face. As I am mustachioed (is that a word?) I use LMTs.

The Crane is nice. The Voltor is nice. The Bushmaster is nice. The SIR is good. I have them all and they all work fine for what I put them together for.

I just bought a Vltor rifle stock. It is not the carbine stock you are looking at but I am impresed with this product. I saw the Magpul and it has more engineering in it than my car does. Solid. I would like to see a Vltor car. stock. Wait, I can slide one on in place of the rifle stock. That would be one multi task lower ready to go.  I voted Vltor.
