Can anyone help me identify where this jacket came from? Its 3/4 length and seems very well made, a little better than the British DPM Windproof Smock.

I have one, it is Austrian.
Watch the old movie The Dirty Dozen, I think it is the second
one that they made, they wear them in there.

Also seen them in some old German WW 2 photos also.
At least they are very similar to it.

Definitely Austrian. One of my favorite parkas.... I like the heavy cloth.

Austrian it is. I seem to recall seeing one of those in Sportsman's Guide once.

I agree Austrian NOT australian. Grey Wolf sells some items in that pattern if you need anything else.
