UPDATE:

I got out of the shower tonight to see that Bravo Company had emailed me that the 11.5" BCM/URX uppers were in stock.

So, thanks to you bastards, I bought one.

I also got a BCM Mod 3 large latch charging handle and a BCM bolt/carrier assy.

Is it sacrilegious to put such a nice upper on a DPMS lower? It's the only one I have a SBR stamp for. I plan on getting another Form 1 for a proper BCM/Colt/LMT lower at some point.

The next step is upgrading my light and mount, and pricing out suppressors.

Guess I'll be selling some rifles and uppers now.

Thanks for all your help, guys!

I've always owned decent quality ARs, DPMS, Del-Ton, and home-builds mostly. I've had pretty good luck with them, too but I don't necessarily know if I trust them as HD weapons. At this point in my collection, I want to move up to a higher quality rifle. In the choices I've listed, price isn't the only determining factor. If it was, I'd just go with #1.
Here are the choices I've narrowed down:
1.) BCM 16" Midlength rifle http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Mid-16-AR15-Bravo-Company-s/142.htm
2.) BCM 16" Midlength upper w/ KAC URX II http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-BFH-16-Upper-Receiver-Group-KAC-p/bcm-urg-16%20bfh%20urx%2047.htm
3.) BCM 11.5" upper w/ KAC URX II http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-BFH-11-5-Upper-Receiver-Group-KAC-p/bcm-urg-11%20bfh%20urx%2049.htm
4.) LMT 12" or 16" CQB MRP piston upper http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=piston&Search.x=0&Search.y=0
I'm leaning toward the 16" or 11" BCM/KAC uppers. I'd LOVE an SR-15E, but it's out of range of what I can justify spending.
I plan on SBRing a BCM, LMT or Colt lower for the NFA uppers, if I get one. The primary reason I am looking at SBR uppers, is that they can be used for suppressors and not make the rifle overly long, an important consideration in a HD gun.
Any thoughts?
ETA: Fixed the link on #2.

I either own or have shot all the rifles you listed, even the SR15.  They are all top quality and you really can't go wrong with either choices..If you do plan on going the SBR route, my vote went with the 11.5"..Out of all my rifles, my SBR's get the most range time..

I vote #3.  The 11" has the better reliability.  You seem to already have the AR platform covered in your earlier builds.  Time to start stamp collecting.

Why not just make one of your current guns into what you want? Upgrade the critical components (BCG, FCG); rebarrel with the profile you want. Save a bunch of $$$.

Can't go wrong with any of your choices but the 11.5 BCM would be my choice. Like jBoy723, my SBR get's the most range time in my collection as well.

I think the LMT would be a good choice.  If you feel like running a 16 inch mid length, just swap out your 12 inch piston barrel for the MRP 16 inch mid length barrel.  You could even switch from piston to DI if you would like.

Yeah, I've developed a powerful case o' want for that upper.

BCM says they won't have any until late summer. I just hope I can get one before they're sold out.

The 16" is in stock, however...

My bad, I was looking at the wrong one. However, MSTN and Gun Gallery (Jacksonville) also sell them in that exact configuration and may have a few in stock though.....

He want's an SBR, I would go 6.8 in an SBR before I would choose 6.5 Gendel.

I actually have a 7.5" SBR M&A kit on a DPMS lower. It's easily as accurate as any carbine I own, but I don't know how it stands up to extended abuse without careful maintenance. It's a lot dirtier than my 16" guns, that's for sure. I also have read that it's not advised to put a can on a 7.5" barrel.

So I figured I'd get a 11.5" that's higher quality and can be suppressed.

I made the middle finger a bit longer.

Voted #3. I love that setup and will be purchasing it myself in the next few months.
