I'm building the following.

Centurion 14" CMR rail
Centurion .750 gas block
Centurion BCG
1.5 battlecomp
Primary Arms 1-6 scope (when they're available)
Areo Precision upper receiver

Lower
Noveske FFL
Vltor IMOD

I had planned on buying a chrome lined Centurion Arms 14.5" midlength lightweight barrel to keep the upper all Centurion, but they are next to impossible to find and I've found out that they're 14.5's are just cut down 16" barrels.

So with that said.  I'm thinking BCM BFH 14.5 midlength or Rainier Arms 14.5" midlength stainless barrel.  Which would you choose?  Other suggestions for a 14.5" midlength barrel?  Does anyone make a lightweight barrel with a .750 gas block?

I've also got a SPR going togeather with an 18" stainless BCM barrel & 16x scope to reach out with. Just not sure which way to go on the 14.5".

Can you shoot sub MOA groups every time at 100 yards? How about at 200, 300+? Do you plan on shooting 1000+ rounds a month? If not, then the barrel isn't going to matter to you that much as long as you get a brand with a good track record. Either of those brands will be great.

And for the gas block, if it's measuring .750" at the gas block then most people wouldn't consider that a true lightweight barrel anymore (unless there's some new-fangled barrel profile out there I'm not aware of).

I agree with the .750 not being a true lightweight.  The Centurion Arms gas block is the only one that works without modification with the CMR rail.  Main reason I'm using it.

I guess the question should be Med Contour stainless or chrome lined barrel with the 1-6?  Think I'll go chrome lined, since I've got the SPR in the works too.  Keep it light.
