Just purchased a barrel advertised as an LMT barrel.

Barrel has M4 feedramps and is marked on top beneath the gas tube with:

"MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 CB"

No marking on FSB and pins appear to be straight with no taper.

Front handguard ring is full-round without M4 cut-outs for M203 clearance.

None of my older LMT 10.5" uppers have markings on the barrel or a handguard ring without M203 cuts.

Anybody know what these markings are?

Does LMT mark their barrels now???

If you look inside the bbl extension on the face where the chamber starts, there should be a star or part of one stamped there.
