I am working on a RRA mid-length upper, and need some help to decide which FH to put on it.

what would you pick and why?

I thank my god and the powers of freedom for my problem of making this choice.

Thanks in advance for looking at this post and your replies.

I think the A2 flash hiders look the best. But look at as many as you can find and customise your rifle the way you think looks best. Thats the beauty of living in this great country we all share! The freedom to choose your rifle configuration!

Personally, I like the look of the jagged-end Phantom's and the price isn't too bad on those.

Also seconding the aforementioned replies, I would take a Phantom, jagged or smooth. The Phantom is easily one of the most effective FHs on the market, and it does look pretty cool. If you're going for the absolute least amount of flash, however, get a Vortex of course. I also believe that the A2 hiders look the best, but I am not sure how effective they are at eliminating flash.

Is it a bench only weapon?

I ended up putting on an old style three prong FS on my CAR SP-1. I got it from CMMG. I like the "Retro" look!

Plus 1 for the 3 prong. I am thinking about doing a dissy build with a 3 prong and triangle handguards.

So the A2 birdcages are no good, then?

Any thoughts on the five slot Phantom without the slots on the bottom? I'm considering either that or an A-2 for now.

Good shooting!

'Vortex', function before looks. Looks are good too IMO though.

Simply the most effective FH available. Be sure to get the one from Smith Enterprises Inc.

Vortex is the best for hiding the flash personally. I aslo like the Knights flash hider with QD suppressor.
