Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help, I can't get my gas tube out.

I have used my upper for .22 for some time. It won't cycle in .223 any more. I tried to take the gas tube out today and it wouldn't budge. Is there a trick to do after taking out the roll pin? I have taken them out before and don't remember any problem.

get a pair of pliers and grab the gas tube up near the front sight....then take a hammer and lightly tap on the pliers till it comes out.
