Currently I have a standard military trigger set (8# ?).  I've dremel-polished the parts and found it to break a little cleaner, but still not happy with the trigger pull weight.  I don't think I really need to go fancy with a $200 trigger kit.  I've been considering an RRA 2 stage NM trigger for $80 off of EE, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for either.  I want to stick with a single stage, but just need the pull to be lighter.  Brownell's offers a JP spring kit for $10.  Would this be what I'm looking for?

Hey Shadowone , I had posted a similer question a little bit ago and was given a ton of trigger improvment options for the AR. Looks like what I may do is the JP spring kit with a bit of the "15 minute trigger job" as I don't have a lot of money to spend on it. Hope this helps. Coondog

I installed the Brownell's spring kit with a little mod to the hammer of my own. Works great!

I don't like the idea of cutting anything.  ARMLT15, can you explain what you did to the hammer?
