Just took delivery of a new LMT heavy buffer and new buffer spring to replace the stock setup in my 14.5" barrelled Bushy carbine with collapsible stock. Bought the gun used so I didn't know how many rounds the spring had seen. Will I notice a difference in the way the bolt cycles? More or less felt recoil? Are there any brands or types of ammo that will cause me trouble by using the h-buffer? I will be taking a 4 day practical rifle course in 2 weeks and wanted to make sure the gun runs perfect with 55 gr Federal American Eagle. I am going to test it this afternoon. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, I installed one with my Vltor stock from BravoCompanyUSA. It works great. My buffer has a H on it is that what yours looks like?

Take both buffers with you. The H buffer should slow the carrier a bit.
