How does it compare to the other triggers?

They are my go to trigger now. I have them in several guns. I replaced a lower priced Geissle with one because the Rise felt better. Very smooth, crisp let up with minimal over travel. You will need some locked pins or they will walk on you. They are a great value for the price.

I'll give them a try.  Good price.  Picked up a G2S for 125. So I'll compare the 2

I can compare to mil-spec and ALG ACT with JP springs.  It's a slightly lighter pull, but very difficult to tell.  The main difference I noted was ease of installing.

I have one of those and it's a pretty nice trigger compared to my other drop in units.

Another happy RA140 user.

I don't see how the pins could walk once the set screws are locked down though. I'm using std pins.

So I did more research on the Rise triggers. It seems like some have been having problems with firing when not intended. ie. when letting go of the trigger.

For the same price I think I'm going to go with the G2S.

I have had great luck with my JMT trigger from Rainier for $95... It has a really clean pull and drops right in! Functions flawlessly

Can you give more details about that?  Maybe a link?  Thanks.

Mine breaks at exactly 3.5 every time! I am not sure where the 4+ comes from?

Thanks for the link.  I interpret two of those as people not following through on their trigger, which is not hard to do with a 3.5 lb. trigger.  The guy with the broken trigger sounds like a real failure and the guy claiming the holes for the hammer and trigger are out of spec might have a problem with the trigger or with the lower.  I would be very surprised if both problems aren't fixed.

That said, if I could afford it I would always choose an SSA-E over any single stage trigger.

Just installed one (RA-140) on my last lower that didn't have an aftermarket trigger.  I now have two.  No problems with my first one, except for needing anti-walk pins.  Standard trigger/hammer pins felt snug on the second, but I still went and ordered another set of anti-walk pins for it too.  Found a set for $6.50....so what the heck.

So, yeah, I like the trigger.  Only time will tell how durable it is.
