My CMMG lightweight Mid length barrel with .625 at the FSB will be here tomorrow and I want to install a standard mid length hand guard on it.

I see most Mid hand guards can use a triangular cap but all the caps I see for sale does not mention the diameter of the barrel it fits.

what different sizes does a hand guard cap come in and which one will I need?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think the size of the barrel matters for the handguards. Just as long as you get the right length(rifle, mid, carbine).
Hope this helps.

I'm actually referring to the handguard cap not the handguard itself

I got my triangular handguard cap for my lightweight (.625") CMMG barrel from CMMG.
