Anybody know who has these in-stock?
Please save the "you get what you pay for comments" Thanks guys. |

RSR was supposed to have a huge shipment at the end of July, so there must be somekind of delay getting them into the country or something.

I have been thinking the same thing. It is certainly a possibility that Aimpoint's lawyers talked to Hakko's lawyers and convinced them to rethink their marketing plans. I can understand Aimpoint objecting to the sale of the Tacpoint clone. ETA - If this is case, then all the Tacpoint brouhaha was for naught. LOL |
I have some and if you want you can e-mail me at [email protected]
And if someone asked who has Aimpoints, EoTechs or ACOGs in stock it would get locked too? |
I see no reason why this thread would be locked, simply because of a name. If your post is nothing other than "yes, they are in stock here" or "I heard it might be a while", then I suggest the nay-sayers and instigators move along to another thread. Thanks. |
This thread is not getting locked, no one has said a single bad thing. Carry on.
All of you who think this thread would get locked for whats in it so far must not really know what it takes to get a thread closed...
I'm afraid you're probably on to something here. Our group buy at FAL Files from Texas Tactical is stalled. |
Perhaps Aimpoint would rethink their marketing policy if in fact the Hakko people have somehow been blocked from further supplies. The only losers here , as usual, would be joe public. But hey. If some marketing dim-wit fails to recognise buying trends, what markets are worth $wise to a variety of potential buyers why should they lose out. Nothing like being complacent when you're on top of your game ----- if you want to lose business to competitors that is.
What happened to free enterprise and a competitive marketplace ? I guess these days it's easier to call the lawyer to "shut em down". Could someone out there confirm or deny--officially- what is going on :RSR perhaps or one of the retailers regarding the unexpected delay in tac-point deliveries |
well, for me not a problem, I'll be in Japan (Tokyo) sometime in October. I'll have to research an outlet from where I might get these items (Akihabara?)
Should'nt this be in the Airsoft forum,,,, Oh wait,,,,, we dont have an airsoft forum ,,,,sorry!
thegunsource.com doesn't have them in stock, but I was told they are currently in customs, and should be available by the end of this week. I assume they are waiting for the RSR shipment. Though, it sounds like a lot of you guys may have been told similar things to this before, which makes me wonder if maybe something really is wrong.
I have conversed via email with Justin DeWell out of RSR's Milwaukee office. He indicates they are inbound and it just a matter of time. Lots of things can impact delivery schedules of that magnitude. I would be interested in knowing how nightvisionweb bypassed RSR, however. They must have ordered directly from Hakko and at an earlier date.

Perhaps you should find another thread to troll ... |

I really don't understand why some people are so adamant about the whole copyright infringement with Aimpoint when there are numerous other manufactures that make products "similar" to other's originals. All red dot optics are similar in function to the "original". Why doesn't everyone get upset at Meprolight for their reflex sight that is nearly identical to the Trijicon model? What about the asian knock-off optics that are copies of the Hakko BED-24 and BED-35? Why do all "regular" scopes look and operate the same and numerous companies models are identical to other companies products. Just because two companies products look similar and utilize the same principles to work does NOT mean they are copies or using stolen designs. If those of you who think that Aimpoint should persue Hakko because the optics look similar and operate on the same principles then you should also encourage Ford to go after every other auto manufacturer because other cars have internal combustion engines and run on four tires.
Just my first and last rant for those who can't let the Tacpoint stand on its own for what it is. Sarge. P.S. I'm buying one when they clear customs. |

Hey my Rock River AR 15 looks nothing like my Colt AR15
Bomber |
If Aimpoint really gets it's panties in a wad, maybe they'll just have to lower the prices a bit to compensate for the competition. Afterall, isn't that exactly what our economic system is supposed to be about? The Aimpoint monopoly on such sights is exactly the reason why we have been paying $100-$200 too much when we buy one.
Me, I'm gonna give the Hakko a try. If it meets my needs, then I will buy more later. |
Aimpoint hardly has a monopoly on the unmagnified dot optic market. Their is a lot of competition. None of their serious competition is much more or less than Aimpoints though.
Thank you |
I'm thinking of getting several, since October is just around the corner.
A single bad thing. Carry on. Can we get a lock now? -LS |
OOOOOOH Can I answer this one???? C4 |
LMAO oh please do Grant |
There's a difference between 'can you ANSWER' this question and 'CAN you answer' this question ... |
Well I don't want to get another precious tacpoint thread locked so I will refrain from answering the question. All I will say is that the manufacturer won't tell you where there are made! C4 |
Uh huh. There is a difference between where the parts are actually manufactured and where it is assembled! C4 |
Are you serious? I have to hear this one.... Oh, and in answer as to where its made, lets just say Walmart could qualify for BIG discounts from their Far East buddies... |
Hahahahahahaha thats too damn funny. |
It's a good thing somebody asked ya Kisara, otherwise you wouldn't be able to deliver the punch line |
Still waiting ... |
WalMart qualifies for BIG discounts no matter WHERE the country of origin is on the products that they purchase for resale ... It's called "VOLUME", Lumpy. I suggest you look it up. |
On what, you already know the answer. |

I suggest all the gucci girls club members leave this post alone, let them have some peace.
ETA: lest anyone get the wrong idea I'm bashing gucci girls club, I'm in it! |
What company here in the US had to make manuals because the manufacturer does not bother to produce one? I forgot who was it?
