Lower Parts kit:                 $44  (Brownells)
M4 Buttstock assembly:      $40 (Good quality, no difference from my JT, or RRA units. ? Manufacture)
New STAG M4 Upper 1/2:  $420 (Flat top, chrome lined, B/C/CH included, ARMS 40 included too!)
Taxes, shipping, misc.:       $25
   ---------------------------------------
A new M4:                          $609
Note that all parts are new.  

The Stag upper 1/2 is the same one I see on the boards for $525 or so.

Depends on who made the parts, and the buttstock assy.  If they are also Stag pieces, then yes, you got a great deal.  Otherwise---maybe yes, maybe just an OK deal.  Either way, you sure didn't do badly

Where'd you get the Stag upper assembly from?  Cheapest I've seen it is for $475 at AIM Surplus.
