What kind of barrel would you choose and why that one over the other?

I take it that HF is short for Hammer Forged. This is a barrel making process.





Also, I am assuming that CMV is short for Chrome-Moly Vanadium. These are additives in steel. It is not a barrel making process.

You don't "need" a CHF barrel, unless you really want one and don't mind spending the extra



And among the none CHF barrels, you may have a choice between 4140 and 4150. 4150 is better and usually hardly any extra money at all, sometimes it just depends who you're gettgin it from.
