I have been looking for a tactical weaponlight to go on to my ar-15. I do not want to spend the high price for a surefire. I am looking for a six volt light with a pressure switch and a picanny railmount. I am looking to spend around $150.00. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I got my Pentagon X2 with the tape switch and the ARMS mount for about $200. I love it. There are much cheaper ways to go however. Many dealers on the board can help you out. Check out the industry section or the EE.

Good luck.

Viking mount $20, pelican m6 $35 to 40, pressure switch 18 that is less than 1/2 of your budget. The m6 is known as one of the best throwing lights on the market. Another choive is a TACMIII fo rslightly more money.

IM or email kblagg, a vendor on these boards. He has the BEST prices for any Pentagon product, along with the best customer service. I'd reccomend a Pentagon X3HA for your light. For the mount, try a Daniel Defense offset light mount.

At the end of the day, you've got a light and mount for around $130. The mount reatils for $60, so you can do the math and see what kind of price you can get the X3HA for.

*ETA* I'm very happy with the combo I have (the one I've reccomended). I picked up the Daniel Defense offset light mount in the Equipment Exchange used for $45. So shop around and you CAN have an affordable, but high quality light set up.

PentagonLight is a great choice. We also issued MS2. Everyone is very happy with it. It wasn't just the price alone, but the features really topped the competiting models. The ARMS mount is very small compared to Surefire M951's mount. Good after-sales service also. Highly recommend it.
