That sucks! I usually wrap my boxes with tape all the way around them so that can't happen. only adds another .2 pounds in most cases...

I got a MagPul M93B last week. Ordered 4 new stripped Stag lowers yesterday. I'm thinking I'll put the M93 on the 6.8SPC marked receiver. But I imagine it'll be at least a year yet before I get that rifle completed.

I'm waiting on one part also, well I still have to order it. A lightweight barrel from Del-Ton. I'm putting it on a slabside upper I have with a vortex flashhider which will all go on a Colt match target upper I have laying around. The anticipation.

Hey, 1shott.

I'm waiting on a TDI pistol grip:

Then this project will be finished (except for an HK Maritime mag...)

How'd you manage to have no threads where the stock attaches to the lower?

Here is a reason to dump your HK pistol and get a Glock FYI. Read through the whole thread- they drop a Glock from an Airplane and it fires, they also burry an HK in a bucket of sand it completely chokes even after they blow it out with a compressor, same test on a Glock and it fires. They also shoot the Glock with another pistol and it fires. Then they leave them in saltwater and it fires. Honestly was looking to sell my Glock and get an HK USP compact but not now.

Cut and paste the link if needed.

It's an LMT 5-position receiver extension and castle nut and M4 Buttstock. Just turned out that way at the first position (luck?).

The HK416 were brought last Spring from HKPro.com. The rear sight didn't co-witness as the HK416 receiver is 3/8" higher than an AR/M4 receiver so I bought a HK416 front sight as well for proper sight co-witness from rear-to-front.

Believe it or not, there was no interest at the time for the front sights so the seller (LarryH?) sent them back.

Here is the rear sight:

And the front sight:

The more I shoot this weapon, the more it becomes my favorite.

Thanks for the advice Creeper, but having fired both HKs and Glocks in adverse conditions I'll stick with SIGs first, HK second (waiting on a can for it), Belgian Hi-Powers next. I will pass on both Berettas and Glocks, too.

To each his own.
