Getting ready to put my 10.5" SBR together. It will have a Noveske Krink brake & M16 carrier. Since this gun isn't full auto should I go with the H2 or H3 buffer? I posted a similar question before & was recommended one of the hydrolic buffers...Endine & another one. After hearing problems about the bolt not locking back & some leaking, I want to stay with a non-hydrolic one if that makes any sense. All advice, info & replies are greatly appreciated!

Heavy as you can while maintaining as high a level of reliability as possible.  But its always going to be a tradeoff....
The 10.5 will run w/ H3s...but its gotta be 100% w/ all other variables...100% full power factory ammo etc....
A PRI Fatboy on the 10.5's also something to consider......GTG w/ the H3 too......

If you already have a H, H2, or H3  buffer, try it and see how you like it.  Another (cheaper) option is the heavier 9mmm buffers, but as already pointed out, reliability is what ends up being most important.

Quoted:

Noveske has done a lot of testing with the H2 and found this to be the most reliable setup. I think an H3 would work as well, but don't have a lot of testing to back this up.

Tac2cal...go w/ that...there's an awful lot of spent brass backing that research I'm sure of it.....
Noveske's stepped up to the 10.5" set up in big way.....

My 10.5 runs 100% with an H buffer. See no need to go any heavier. A heavier buffer MAY effect reliability.

I have had great luck with my H2 buffer, Wolff HD extractor spring, and LMT standard bolt & carrier w/ Adco CRANE o-ring set-up so far. As a matter of fact I have yet to have a single malfuction other than one bad primer. My LMT/Noveske/LaRue 10.5" runs like a top.

I use a Colt 9mm buffer with a standard-weight ISMI chrome-silicon spring in my 11.5" with Krink brake.  It cycles perfectly in all positions with XM193 or Q3131A.  I also have a heavy extractor spring with a Crane o-ring in it.  I haven't (and won't) shoot any Wolf through it.

Edit for more : I am using a Colt bolt and M16 carrier, as well.

I run a Colt 5.4 oz. 2 pc. buffer in my M16.. Perfectly reliable.. You can run pretty much whatever you want.. Ill bet you wont have any problems with any set up you try.
