AR-15 lovers,

Greetings.  I've been "out of the AR-15 world" for quite a few years.  Been busy battling Calif. anti-2A forces, raising a family, and weathering the economic climate.

My firearms interests in general, over the last few years, have migrated to knives, then tactical flashlights, and now back to firearms!

Today, I decided to at the very least "get back in touch" (or at least try) with the AR-15 community.

I still see a few familiar usernames from the "first AR15.com" forum hosted by Ed Avila--"Tweak" for starters.

I think the last I hung around, Calif. was banning Assault Weapons, super-light carbon AR-15-type carbines and pistols were becoming the rage, and AR15.com was going through some growing pains in terms of membership, hosting, etc.

So, what have I missed since around 1999?

Cheers and Happy Holidays,

Ron Wu

Well lets see. We have a group buy going on rioght now to get a plane load of ar15.com-ers to go to Afganistan to get Bin laden. That's because our group tour worked so well in helping get Sadam. SEE DON'T YOU WISH YOU HAD STAYED ON HERE?
Welcome back, Jack

DevL,

Outstanding!  I'll just have to dig in and catch up now, with the help of your "index".

Cheers!

How about the creation of the Marland AR-15 Shooters Site (www.MD-AR15.com).  Part of it archives the best of the Forums & the AR15-L list (which has moved to Yahoogroups.com).
