A couple of guys wanted to start a thread on these.

I have one and I like it.It does sort of resemble a surefire.It does not have the "X & Y" axis adjustments.It uses allen screws for windage and elevation.It looks great.the Arms mount clone looks and works great too.I haven't had time to use the laser much.Got a baby on the way.But I did shoot it about 12 times at 20yds on my 9mm AR pistol.It held zero.

Since it is manufactured to resemble a surefire model, and it uses the same batteries, would you say that it would be interchangeable with Surefire parts, like mounts, pressure switches, pushbutton switches, etc?

I don't know about swapping parts around.

How far can you see the beam in the daylight?

Can you really see this laser in the daytime??? I cant see any of mine worth a damm. Maybe its the 10mw

I also bought one and performed several mods to sturdy it up. I added a >30mW green laser after I received the <5mW green laser that came with it.  The >30mW (mine is close to 35mW)beam goes to the stars at night, its rated @ 27 miles at night. I drilled out the rear end and put on a LEMO connector for quick  connect and disconnect of the pressure pad. I also added a couple higher quality O rings. I soldered and epoxyed a heavier higher quality battery contact spring to the board. I also epoxyed the charge pump board to the laser body. Still working on a way to make the set screw adjustment more tolerant of rapid fire (to hold zero). May use regular hex cap set screws and lock washers. Looks dead on like a surefire and is visable in broad daylight for a couple hundred yards with a scope. Total cost $375.00. Beats the $700.00 a Shurefire would cost and they are not available in green. Email me if you want pics and I'll send them tomorrow. The swan mounts are of good quality and zero is repeatable. LEMO connectors are high precision and used on things like satellites and industrial / milspec electronics connections.

A guy on ebay was selling them for about $120. The LEMO connector is $55. and the >30mW Green Laser is $199. A guy on line sells them. Don't waste your money on the 10mW get at least a 15-25mW. i have yet to get mine zeroed the paddle switch only works intermitantly sent him a email but no response yet will try agin today ( see follow up report)  (follow up report) recived email from him said no problem he is sending new paddle no charge and just ditch the malfunctioning one so the customer service seem to be pretty good

I tried today with no luck.The Surefire tailcap would thread part of the way,but not completely.

Anyone got a range report on these yet?

AimSHOT LS8200 12mw green laser with picatinny mount. Around $400. UPS dropped mine off a few days ago. 100yds daylight, no problem. At night? As a wiseguy might say "forget about it!!" This thing is waaaay too much fun.

I doubt that accessories- especially anything involving threads or screw mounting will be compatible.  I had an Aimpoint Clone from Jack and although they both fit well in my QRP, they couldn't readily swap accessories or parts.  The killflash was incompatible and the adjustment knob covers were different heights.  Battery compartment threads were also different so no double battery module.
