Went to a gunshow out on the Island last weekend and found some cool buys on ammo. The show was an antique gun show, no modern military firearms so I wasn't expecting too much, but it turned out to be cooler than I thought. It may not sound to impressive because of the small amounts but hey I'm on a budget.
First I got 2 boxes of Federal Match Gold Medal .308 168 grain BTHP for $13.50 a box, way better than anything other price I've seen.
Then 2 boxes of Winchester Q3130 7.62 147 grain FMJ, one box said Ball instead of FMJ, for $10. Anyone know about this ammo? One box is headstamped WCC 90, the other WCC 94 but with the NATO circle and cross.
Keeping with the 7.62 theme, I also picked up 5 boxes of the Santa Barbara Spanish surplus for $20. I've seen this a little cheaper, but no taxes or S&H, sounded like a good deal.
Then to round it up, 2 boxes of Q3131a for $7.
Well, might not sound like a huge deal, but I only had limited funds due to the fact that I just picked up a Magpul MSS M93, but that's a different forum.
Thanks for the time, later.
