Finally got my Bushmaster 14.5 with Phantom FH finished. Took it to the range to sight it in. U put a ARMS flip up rear sight on the flat top. First shot was right and about 14" high! I finally got it dialed in but I didn't think I was going to have enough adjustement in the front sight. Is this normal? Other than that it ran fine. My first build went great. Something about building it youself thats more satisfying than just buing it, and I learned a lot.

I call B.S.! Without pictures, this thread is worthless!

Forum rules require you to post a pic when you post a thread like this...

Bushmaster + ARMS = "you need a taller front sight post".

Perfectly normal.  Call them and complain "politely", maybe they will send you one.  I have measured several BM front sight bases, and they ARE physically shorter than "F-marked" ones.

I removed a PRI front sight/gas block from service for the same reason, INCOMPATIBLE with an ARMS rear sight unless a tall front post was used...  YMMV.

I wish I knew how to post pics. Is there a thread telling how? I installed a Eotech, light and front vert grip.
