Looking for Winchester RA9TA, Federal Tactical or HST 9mm... Who are the good sources for the stuff?

Also, I saw that CTD had some Federal HST marked "not for law enforcement". Does anyone know if this is due to QC problems like all of the "reclassified" Gold Dots from last year?

Northwest Loading Supply

Cor-Bon, Hornaday Tap, IMI Black Tip & +P Die-Cut, Speer Gold Dot, Triton Quik Shock, Winchester Ranger T

Northwest Loading Supply is an ARFCOM site supported & an excellent place to do business.

The HST marked not for LE is an earlier generation of HST. To my knowledge, it has nothing to do with quality control. Federal only wants the latest HST design to be used by LE.

Very Eeeeeeeenteresting. At least I know I won't have to worry about dud primers. Any good sources for the current HST?

Try Streicher's Police Equiptment. Ignore that they call it Hi-Shok 2. There is no such name.

Winchester Ranger T 147 gr JHP
Speer Gold Dot JHP 147 gr

In that order.

Since I'm a cheap bastard and don't carry on a daily basis or require it for duty use, I went with Winchester 147 gr JHP ($0.21/rd).

The cheapest I found for Speer GDHP 147 gr was $0.30/rd, and the cheapest I found for Winchester Ranger was $0.55/rd. They are essentially boutique boxes of ammo.
