I have a Preban AR15 Oly stop sign lower with a Preban Eagle arms upper. The parts in the lower are all new bushmaster parts with only 30 rounds on them and the upper to break in the barel.
I was wondering that the going price on it would be? From what I have seen I am thinking 1200 ish. I am gona go to Reno and sell it to fund a M1A project. I have 2 other post bans and just dont need the Evil Preban functions at this time.

Thanks,

Mt Hunter

I bought a NIB Oly stopsign CAR15 style carbine last year for $750.  It was test fired at the factory and that was it, and I paid that price before anyone heard about the ban not being renewed.

I think you are crazy if you ask $1200, but I guess you might get lucky and find someone crazier.

The ban is not going to be renewed? I have been out of the loop for a bit due to my role in the military and lack of computer support.
So that means that all AR"S will be able to have the preban functions? Am I correct in that assumption? When does this bill expire?

And you said you picked up a verified preban for 750? I see postbans going for that price let alone a preban.

The current ban will expire next September, it has to, it was written into it from the start.  Now, that's not to say that the socialists wouldn't like to get another one enacted.  Given that we can't tell for sure what's going to happen I'd say that the market will support your $1200 price from the sounds of it's condition.

Don't think that $750 for a NIB preban Olympic is a normal occurance.  In fact, don't expect another deal like that any time soon.  Someone got lucky, VERY lucky!

I would say $1100-$1200 would be fair based on other prices I've seen on the EE.  I've also seen remanufactured Olympic Stop Sign lowers go for $800-$900 on the EE.  You may have better luck separating the upper and the lower and selling them individually.  In fact, sell the lower to me and post the upper on the Parts board [:D]

I recently turned down a stack (12-14) SP1s for $900 each, with my pick of what ones I wanted.  I understand that these prices are not the norm, but they are certainly out there.

mthunter- No insult was directed at you, and I am sorry if it came across that way.  Yes, my Oly is a preban stopsign lower (#F26**).

If you can get more money out of it, now is the time to do it.  Unless a serious political push is made, the AWB is not going to be around in another 14 months or so.

M4arc- I also picked up a Colt M4 for $1500 with the upper being unfired and the inside parts of lower showing the smallest amount of wear in a few spots.  The good deals are out there.  I gave the M4 to a friend for the same price I paid.
