Anybody used one of these?  Our duty weapon is being changed to a G22 next month, and we're all being issued a Glock Tactical Light.  Just curious how it holds up.

We had the Glock lights issued about a year ago.  I have not had any reliability problems with mine but they are not designed as good as the M3's in my opinion.  The toggle switch is smaller and not as smooth.  The M3 is much easier for me to operate.  Brandon

Yeah, I kind of figured I'd be switching it out for something else.  Probably my X200 which is currently riding on my TLE/RL2.  We're being issued Safariland 6280 holsters for the G22/Glock Light combo...guess I'll have to buy a G22/M3 holster instead.

I work for the same department as BMW1180.  Like he said, we got them about a year or so ago and they seem to be working out pretty well except for the fact that we don't have holsters that will accept the gun with the light mounted.  We were issued speedloader pouches to carry the lights on our belt which pretty much sucks.

Other than that, the lights have been good.

the difference in cost between the glock light and M3 is only $20-30 now

I've had a Glock's light on my 17 for a while now (bought it shortly after they first came out), and I haven't had any real complaints.  It's certainly about the ugliest pistol-light in existance, but it seems rugged enough to do the job, and quite bright.
