The lowers are all in stock now and most of the web orders are now shipped. I have plenty in stock at the present time and am pretty well caught up on orders. There are around 60 or so still available from this first run.
Thanks once again for all the interest and your PATIENCE. It is most humbly appreciated. Denny DIRECT LINK TO THE LOWERS ON THE WEBSITE ALL THE LOWERS ARE IN EXCEPT THE COMPLETE ONES. COMPLETE LOWERS ARE ASSEMBLED WITH ALL COMPONENTS EXCEPT THE BUTTSTOCK. ALL PARTS USED IN THE LOWER BUILDS ARE CMT/STAG. PICS ARE UP LINK TO ALFA'S GTS/DENNYS GUNS CUSTOMER BUILDS THREAD All the expenses and pricing are in. The lowers will be $105 shipped I know the price is not the same as a standard Stag lower but small runs of custom lowers add an substantial cost increase over mass produced lowers. I just want you guys to understand why the price is not the same as a standard Stag lower. When you see the pics you will see the quality. It cost $1200 just to mark these safe/semi instead of safe/fire Here are the pics of the lowers produced for Global Tactical/ Dennys guns. The goal was a lower of very high quality, hard anodized finish and built to spec. I chose CMT/Stag due to their very high quality standards and their experience making parts for other top companies as well as their own excellent products. The receivers are not Caliber marked. If you are going to build a 6.8, 6.5 Grendel, 9mm etc, you will no longer have your weapon look odd having a receiver marked 5.56 MM. If you want it caliber marked I reccomend Tom Sawyer Mfg for additional markings. They have done work for me and it is excellent. Also notice the receivers are marked SAFE-SEMI this allows for the AUTO marking for people requiring such. These will not be a one run or short term project. Once the ball is rolling I will have these available at all times. The first offerings will be stripped lowers. Later we will offer them as complete lowers, with Stag Arms parts installed of course. After the Holidays complete lowers less buttstock, extension tube and spring and buffer will be available for $182 shipped. You can add your own stock or we can install a CMT M4 (new design), Magpul or SOPMOD at your option for the cost of the stock and hardware. OH YEAH! Looks promising, I hope we can configue custom lower builds like a match trigger etc.
Sure. These will be the basis for most of my custom builds in the future, unless the customer has another preference. They are a natural for us being we build almost excluively on CMT/STAG Uppers. Denny |

To make them correctly would require a whole new forging and would be expensive as demand would be fairly limited and I thinks ASA is already working on that project. I have four on order with them if they ever deliver. That said I am discussing a future small run of lowers without the Safe/Fire markings on the right side. Close enough for me for a reasonable M16A1 clone with the benefit of the A2 reinforcement. If I do these we will get them anodized in Colt Grey. Denny |

Will you have them marked with the "cal" the customer wants? IE: 5.56mm, 9mm, 6.8mm, 6.5mm, etc?
Thanks. |
Pretty hard to do that as they are not made one at a time However they will NOT be caliber marked so you can send one to Tom Sawyer Mfg and he will engrave what ever you want on it. Denny |

ROCK ON!! |

Denny- those look great, I might be in the market for one when they come out. Will we be able to specify the S/N or will it be sequential?
eta: spelling |
all those who hate the HUGE stag logo will buy these
I don't mind the stag logo too much but may just wait for these as I like the simple markings a lot.....What type of time frame are you looking at for delivery? |
They will be sequential. I imagine the first 10 will be spoken for by close personal friends after that they will ship in the order ordered. We will start with 00001, and that one is mine Denny |
Denny,
You would have better response if you had them marked "safe/semi" not "safe/fire" . Just my two cents. |
A nice, clean, well thought out look.
I think you will find them hard to keep in stock. Congratulations on what is sure to be a hit. |
I agree |
What are you a psychic? Of course Safe/Semi[:D) I am an 07/02. I NEED lowers I can mark AUTO. We discussed marking them SAFE/SEMI/AUTO but gave it up due to the confusion it could cause with LE/BATFE personell. The appeal would be high with some folks but the potential for problems overshadowed any possible benefit. Denny |
model gt M-15, would be NICE.
I cast the first vote. I also vote for safe/semi |
I'm sold! When you get them in, consider me for first in line. ON 8/20/05 AT 17:35 Spooge5150 is on the list. |

I was thinking of getting the deer head kind but yours is better.
I vote for the Safe - Semi markings. It looks great. |
Might be down for two Denny, I am right here in town but it does depend on How much and when since the company I work for saw fit to lay me off... But If in the $100 range I am definitely in!
Nice work Denny!
I'm looking forward to building my next rifles around your new lowers +1 for SAFE/SEMI The only input I could give would be to avoid "US Property" or other similiar markings. There is one LEO in particular up here who is convinced that those are stolen gov property |
Great idea Denny. The only reason I never stocked any STAG lowers was because of the Deer. I'm sure you will have dealer pricing for us right?
You should tell that LEO that you know who is selling stolen government property and need his help to catch the crooks in a secret sting. |
i want one marked "OFF - BANG" yes, i am serious, any way this would be possible? |
Now that I have too many uppers and buttstocks I'll be needing more lowers. I really like the Safe-Semi so I'll be putting in an order. Any chance for serial #187 being reserved? I'd also like to get five in sequential order starting with XXX0 to XXX5.

Oh Gee! Now your going to end up getting more of my money.

Denny, I thought there was some kind of regulation that you HAD to mark the caliber, as well as company name, model and serial number? I like the idea on NOT marking caliber, because a lower, obviously, can be used with different caliber uppers. John |
Cool lower! I don't like the deer head either. I'll be waiting for when you get them in.
ETA?
I was going to get a Stag lower for a future build, but for the nominal extra money, I don't have to live with the logo. Plus I like the plain logo free look. |
How many Remington 700's or Winchester Model 70's have you seen with caliber marked receivers? The caliber is marked on the barrel and I have never in 25 years seen a comercially produced AR that was not caliber marked on the barrel. Denny |
Way to go Denny. Stag's quality, without the deer and caliber markings . |
This has been in the works for months with Mark and Jesse. Always details, details, details.
But this will be bearing fruit very soon Denny |
Sweet. Plain and simple. I'll have to fit one or eight into my budget.
This is just excellent. Denny, I have a great idea but it requires you to put on your creative thinking cap. If you could somehow, someway, make about 2000 lowers with the serial number, "000911" you could retire with the proceedes. I can't think of how you could do it wht only that one serial number but you could probably sell at least a couple of thousand on this site alone.
Awesome, too bad this years' is the last SEBR, Denny for 2006 would have been my war cry.
Great news! I'll stop by and pick up one or two when they're available. Keep us posted.
Denny, sorry to interrupt but I have been trying to contact you through several EMails and on the thread about the Troy supressor concerning purchasing the suppressor. Have you not recieved any of my Emails?
