Since XM193 is getting harderto find/more expensive, i'm looking at the Georgia arms ammo. There is two types of 55 grain .223 listed on their page. One is on the rifle ammo page: www.georgia-arms.com/rifle_ammo.htm this is listed at $180 per 1000. The other is on the canned heat page: www.georgia-arms.com/canned_heat.htm it is $170 per 1000.

What is the difference between the ammo? I have heard good things about the canned heat, but isn't it reloaded? Is the other new manufacture or better?

All replies are appreciated.

I have not bought ANYTHING .223 except Ga Arms in in the past 10 years. I have always been very pleased with what I get with my 1000 round cans. As for the difference, I do not know. I always just grab 2 cans and pay whatever they ask? You said any and all comments....

It's all the same ammo. The more expensive is packed in individual boxes and the cheaper stuff is packed loose in an ammo can. Both are remanufactured but excellent quality ammo.
