Do they have any stampings on the sides of the mag body?

They're stamped FOR EXPORT ONLY 04TQ4 According to MAG FAQ they're post ban. |

That's correct, and that would explain the black followers (USGI contract mags would have required GFs since '91). General Stamping used to be La Belle, and they were known for making excellent USGI mags.
Are there any obvious feedlip geometry differences? Do the followers ride up and down in the mag smoothly? Have you used a ruler to run them up and down a couple dozen times to smooth out the bearing surfaces? -Troy |

Between the long,long years of military and LEO experience,and the tremendous assets of this site,I've pretty well exhausted the trouble shooting route. At least they make good training mags for malfunction drills. Thanks again sir. |
