I am cutting down my own barrel. Anyone know what the gas port sizes run with the approximated barrel lengths of 7.5, 10, 11.5, 14.5, and 16 inches. I have not decided if I'm going pistol or carbine yet.

Thanks,
Rick

Don't know about most of them, but cutting down a 20" barrel to 16" requires a gas port of approx. 0.105 - 0.110" for reliable operation with all ammo.  I was getting by with 0.100", but it would not reliably cycle junk Wolf ammo, so I bumped mine to 0.105" and it solved the problem.  Kurt's Kustom, who used to do these alot, uses 0.110" as a standard, I've come to find out.

Good info. I have a virgin lower and I really want to put a pistol together but I haven't made up my mind, pistol or carbine. I just want to know what size reamer to get. I guess it's between 11" or 16" lengths.
