Ok my questions is as follows:

If you have a chrome barrel doest the front sight base also get chromed?

Is there such a thing as a chromed front sight base ( I do not see the need)

are all of the gas tubes the same dia? or would they be two different sizes in dia?

Chrome *LINED* barrels have a chrome lining in the BORE....

The FSB is on the OUTSIDE of the barrel, so does not get lined with any chrome..... it would server no purpose.  The FSB is parkerized, just like the outside of a barrel.... whether that barrel is standard chrome-moly steel, or chrome-moly steel with a *chrome lining*.

All gas tubes are the same diameter.... just different lengths.
