Geez, I haven't seen any of that for ages.
No offense intended at all....Can I ask why you want some ? Accuracy was very good for surplus, but the bullet was only so-so terminally. XM855 won't work ? Winchester makes a white box 62gr FMJ that does not have the M855 penetrator as well. Might be close.
Haven't seen the Swiss stuff for years though. I still have a case of the Swiss M193 equivelant though. |

I do not remember, is the Swiss stuff a duplicate of SS109/M855, or is it merely a 62 grain lead core FMJ???
If former, isn't M855 "close enough"? If latter, get some Prvi 62 FMJ factory ammo or use Prvi 62 FMJ's and handload. Oh, sorry, they ain't available, either!

Optimized for a 1/10 rifling twist used in the SIG 550. Don't remember what the velocity is like though. |

I bought a few hundred of them a while back. They shot "OK" out of my Armalite M15NM and my Smith Carbine and I used them for casual 300 meter shooting. I also killed quite a mess of varmints with them. They are pisspoor killers as are all FMJ's, of course. I could improve that by loading them backwards, I guess.

Fiocchi also makes a 62 gr. lead core FMJ in .223. All of their .223 loads that I've tried seem to be loaded on the hot side. PSA has had it available on and off lately.
