I like the 7" samson looks good but how is it attached and will it spin? Is it a two piece or do I need to remove the sight or barrel?  Thx for any info.

I have the GG&G on my dominator upper, all I can say is that I love it.  I only wish it came with more accessory rails, its kind of a mixed bag between covers and rails to replace the covers with.  Between that and my Surefire rail, the GG&G is my fav...

The samson rail is two pieces (actually 3) that attach to the existing barrel nut, all you have to remove is the delta ring and spring which you can cut off instead of disassembling the barrel.  The samson has small notches that fit on each side of the upper receiver to prevent spin from heavy torque, but don't actually touch the receiver.  It is rock solid when installed and the rails are nicely cut.

I had the FF.  Very well made and a good value considering the accessories it comes with.  Unfortinately, it didn't fit my HBAR very well (it left the rail a little too high).  I called GGG and they said to send it in, but my priorities changed and I sold it.
