I have three Colt carbines and will be tearing them down this weekend and wanted to know how can I tell if I have a full auto bolt in it vs. the other bolt. Any pics would be great on a comparison.

There is no such thing as a full auto bolt.

There are many different types of bolt carriers.

Best photo you'll likely find is on Quarterbores Lightning Link page

www.quarterbore.com/nfa/lightninglink.html

Cold link to the actual photo, the M16 carrier is on the bottom.

Full auto bolt?
As in assault rifle?
Them thangs is dangerous!

It’s not the bolt.
