How do you get out very tough ones? Colt 16" pencil barrel.

Liquid Wrench or (better) Kroil. Give it an hour or two to work.

Good Punch.

Heavy hammer.

Some way to hold the work really steady.

Yours should drive out from left to right, I think, but check them to make sure yours are more tapererd on the left side.

Concave puch and heavy hammer...  Can take a few good wacks some times...

Support the offside so the barrel isn't resting on the handguard cap. Use an armorer's block or such. Set up on a solid surface, use the front door step if necessary.

Use a LARGE pin pun, 1/4" diameter is a good size. I've never needed more than an 8 oz ballpeen. Make sure you're hitting the small end of the pins.
