Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front Sight Removal

Sorry if this has been hashed over a couple times.  I tried doing several searches and found nothing.  I'm looking to remove my front sight to add a gas block on my Varmint project.  

Can someone give me a "how to" on removing my front sight?  I see 2 pins that look like they need to punched out but other than that I'm at a loss.  Any tricks or tips would be great.

Check this thread out HERE. It will guide you through a bunch of different commonly asked DIY projects. You'll need to scroll down to the barrel installation project to find pictures and directions for removing the FSB (front sight base). Good luck!
