will a quallity free float tube and good add on rails keep there zero to mount say a front flip up on? or should i just go with a quad rail? is there a big difference in weight? i was thinking of either a v tac rifle length or a MI full length rifle mounted on my m4 what do you guys think? i'm not gonna mount to much else on it maybe fore grip,

I think a GOOD modular float tube with GOOD add on rails should hold a zero. I would go that route vs a quad rail so you can put rail where you need them on the tube and not have to use a bunch of rail covers.

there are some pretty lightweight quad rails out there so you could go either way I would suppose.

If you care about weight just get a DD 12.0 rail system.

weight really isn't that big of a problemhoughIs v-tac a good tube any other's better? do you have to take off the tube to attach rail's and take back off. if so i see why quad rails are the rage i want to be able to mount a bi pod and light at the same time but only have it on the gun when i need it
